Covert Gecko

A bright green gecko hides behind twigs among a few bright green leaves that match his color. He is alert and attentive of potential danger.

Came across this little guy on a nature walk at Punta Sur, Isla Mujeres, Mexico. “Covert Gecko” tries to hide, but his bright green color catches my eye. He scurries off the path to camouflage himself among the leaves.
